International Barnabas Ministers Fellowship

As Barnabas encouraged Paul in his calling, so let those called encourage one another.

IBMF is a gathering place for ministers, whether you are ordained or not; for all who are called or have a special gift to serve Jesus. IBMF is a place for fellowship, uniting, and encouraging each other in the gifts of the Spirit within us so that the body of Christ will be built up. It is a place where you can share what your calling, gifts and burdens are; where you can be encouraged in your gifts and encourage others in theirs. IBMF is a gathering of Christian leadership experience that is able to train up the next generation of those who are responding to their calling, and a place of empowering missions work, both at home and around the world. If you have been called, you are wanted and needed here!

FAQ

No, absolutely not. We believe that the Body of Christ is much bigger than a denomination.

Maybe not …yet. However, we believe the Lord wants us to start chapters in as many places as possible. We would at least like to speak with you, get to know you, learn of your calling, gifts and burden, so that we can encourage one another.

There may be worship, prayer, a message from regular attending members or personal ministry. There will be time set aside for those attending to share their calling, burdens and needs. Our goal is to promote fellowship and encouragement to one another, and to find a way to get the gifts God put in us flowing more effectively.

IBMF is a free-standing ministry of the southern district of the International Fellowship of Christian Assemblies (IFCA), a group of autonomous churches focused on the Gospel and international missions. Though we don’t intend to promote the IFCA, there will be an open door for IBMF attendees to be considered for credentialing, fellowship or a church tax umbrella. Information about the IFCA can be found here.
